City of Toronto Homeless Initiative Fund
The City of Toronto operates the Homeless Initiative Fund (CT-HIF) to support
projects assisting the City’s homeless people, such as shelters, outreach programs,
and food banks. The CT-HIF was experiencing rapid growth in the number of funded projects.
They also faced stringent requirements for reporting results to both city and
provincial officials. As a result, CT-HIF required a process to improve the reporting and analysis
of project information.
IME conducted a comprehensive needs assessment with both CT-HIF and project staff.
We developed a reporting system that:
- allows CT-HIF to effectively evaluate projects,
- streamlines the reporting process for both CT-HIF and project staff, and
- encourages the sharing of valuable information and knowledge resources.
