Knowledge is central to the mission and business objective of the Public
Service Commission of Canada. It’s not only a central resource for the commission,
it is also an important output of the Commission.
IME helped the Public Service Commission of Canada complete a knowledge
management strategic plan that focuses on how the Commission can develop a
knowledge management capacity to better achieve their business goals.
The plan built on existing information management programs and identified
specific tools and processes to improve the way the Public Service Commission
of Canada captures and uses its knowledge assets.
As a result, the Commission was one of the first organizations in the
federal government of Canada to focus on management practices related to
knowledge resources.
